Cryptocurrency Isn't Ready Yet

Cryptocurrency isn't ready yet in my opinion. I believe we've got a couple years before we can expect to see any sort of massive adoption due to crypto scalability issues, crypto regulation, and projects not delivering on their road maps. - My site with more information and resources: http://blocksmarty.com/ - Buy Cryptocurrency: $10 btc free for the first $100 you purchase https://www.coinbase.com/join/55f70dbeb68725008300002e - Binance: https://www.binance.com/?ref=12606222 - Mine cryptocurrency: 3% discount with my code: 6e3UWz https://www.genesis-mining.com/ - Use Bitcoin to shop on Amazon: https://purse.io/?_r=7poeaj Coin Tracking Tool: https://cointracking.info?ref=B334910 Convert Crypto: https://changelly.com/?ref_id=4fd642ed5bbc My twitter: https://twitter.com/BlockSmarty Subscribe to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCM0imHR5C689j9qifbs-zIg?sub_confirmation=1 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BlockSmarty

The market is waiting for a project to succeed and get everyone excited again. EOS could be the one. I realisized this week EOS is positioning itself to challenge Facebook as it solves facebooks current issues. Steemit is the beta version of EOS it makes a lot of sense.

Why Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency dropped on Google search is rather obvious, Tom ! People were hoping to get rich quick and saw the daily increase of Bitcoin prices. That along with the emergence of Coinbase, making it that much easier to get into investing in cryptocurrency. The minute we dropped by 60%+, the luster came off. However, the knowledge is there now and it has become an viable asset class - clearly. As it's technology evolves, the main crypto projects (those who actually utilize their tokens) will go up in value, the others ? Not so much. Crytpo is here to stay and I am obviously betting my hard earned money that within a couple of years we will be talking about ETHEREUM, NEO, BITCOIN and a few other projects, the same way we talk about AMAZON, APPLE, FACEBOOK and GOOGLE today. :)

I'm probably going to be putting in around 1k more here soon...waiting to see where this market goes though first. I think VeChain could be a good play for the next few months I might make a video about it soon but you probably know a lot of the info already haha.

That's crazy ! Don't over do it, my friend ! Ya, looking at Crypto daily, hourly, minute by minute, will drive you crazy, especially in this bear market, but it allows me to learn as much as I can about the technology and projects, so that I hopefully will make the "right" decision on which project(s) to invest in for my retirement down the road. LISK seems like a truly solid project and they haven't even started their marketing efforts. Today, yet another day of "dumping crypto". GRRRR ! Sickening !

lmao in this space it's hard to wait even 6 months especially when we're all looking daily. I took a couple weeks away (maybe I looked 1-2x) while I didn't make videos there, and it was kind of refreshing in a way I must admit. Granted EOS went down to $4 and I probably would have lost my mind had I been watching it more closely LOL. I really need to look into LISK more man. I think they've got big potential, and they're so low right now too. I have limited funds right now after getting killed at tax time though. I am so freaking busy right now in the last few weeks of my 7 college classes and I cannot wait until its done. I will be making 2-3 vids per week probably and working on some courses for this and some other larger online businesses I have.

I agree. Stellar has great technology, but with a 4.4 BIL market cap, the project is way ahead of itself. My favorite project is LSK. IF I could afford to wait for a long term return, I'd invest in LSK. I need short term validation, unfortunately. :/

I think Ripple has got to be the betting favorite to be listed. I will say I really like everything Stellar is doing, but from an investment standpoint I don't think it's a good one.

Yes, sure, more regulation is needed, however, that is no different then the hype we had during the Dotcom bubble. This is a brand new way to invest. Growing pains are inevitable. Today's technology doesn't allow for "years" of adoption. Things happen in days, weeks and months. Institutions are aware of it and are ready to make money with it. IT"S ON ! Project will clearly fall by the wayside. You mention "scalability". I LOOOVE the token ZIL (Zilliqa). I bought 100,000 at around $0.038 last week. TO THE MOON ! ;) I agree with WTC and VEN, not WABI. Platforms are taking it on the chin currently - good. I can buy more NEO (now 100 of them). Agree with your commentary, however, the mass adoption of Blockchain technology is inevitable shortly. My 2 cents !
Richard Haenisch (3 months ago)
Thanks ! ZIL ICO'd at $0.13, so technically I HAD TO buy in at $0.038. When I saw that I quickly looked at your posts (you have not reviewed it, however) and any of the others, The consensus was overwhelmingly in favor of the project - SCALABILITY. I'm looking for $0.10 and will sell my initial investment in it to add to my NEO position - hopefully soon. TO THE MOON ! ;)

Wow man going big on Zilliqa! I like their project too, but I wanted to let it settle in a bit more and study it more too. In the long run the platform coins will be the ones that prevail. I think we've got at least another year or two before we see the masses, but I hope you're right!

I hope so man.

I agree with what you say. We do have a long way to go. When I tell people I'm invested in crypto, I can see the confusion in their face and explaining it to them is a challenge to. I think the first step is educate people on what it is. Secon regulation is a must, I invested in an ico and the only thing on my mind is I hope I don't get scammed. Things need to be better or it's just gonna drive people away.

I had a guy from work that is HEAVILY invested in MGT stock (he's got around 500k invested in it now) ask me about EOS the other day and I felt like an idiot because I couldn't really explain it to him that well. He couldn't wrap his head around the lack of fees or gas and there not being mining needed. I tried to explain it to him like 5 times, and I felt like I needed to be able to do a better job. My next video is going to be related to this kind of thing for sure. Some regulation is certainly needed man. I think it'll be months before any happens though at best. With regulation the masses and big businesses will feel much more comfortable as well IMO.

those are all great for crypto. never give up, keep pushing, and the only logical outcome is success!

I think in reality it means there's a lot of room for growth in this space/market cap :)

The miners are interested in finding a nonce which will create a hash with certain characteristics. Lastly, they have to find a random value that they included in the header, which makes the computed hash over that header a value below a particular target. In other words, they do not have to agree to change the protocol.
