My ETH percentage is very similar and your passion for Ethereum resonates with me! I really think you should look into Cardano - I'm as bullish about Cardano as I am Ethereum if not more. I feel that they're incredibly innovative and one to watch.
Love your content and agree with the buzz around $IOTA. I know you have a bunch of coins on your misc., but would love to hear your thoughts on an undervalued project tackling a real crypto-problem in Digipulse. $DGPT is a decentralized smart-contract based digital inheritance service that has already announced a live platform launch for July 2018. Couple that with its small market cap and supply, there is a lot to be excited about as an investor. Thanks!
Louis have you played with their beta yet? It's pretty legit imho. The whole Matthew Mellon Ripple tragedy and drama has to make you really think about how you are managing and protecting yourself. WIth DGPT, they take the challenge out of it and to boot, I think they are highly undervalued. But please, would appreciate your thoughts
Hey Louis, would love your thoughts on this as well and how you plan to secure your crypto if something unexpected were to happen to you? Been following DGPT as they are launching the platform on July 1st. The first p2p decentralized digital inheritance service to hit the market but it's still such a low cap for a first mover.
Crypto currency day trading investment has been really awesome for me using the auto trading software to PUT/CALL on my trade, this has earn me more profit this past few weeks with the assistance of mr Diego Williams who has guided me to a successful investment on crypt mining and bitcoin trading,Contact him via his email [email protected]
Louis-I am starting a YouTube channel in another niche. Do you get paid on views or when people click on the ads? Can you point me in right direction. I am also going to post on steemit so if you can send me info on that as well. Thanks and love your videos on Crypto.
Wow. EOS is not > 10%???? ETH at 45%... ETH's business model of charging for each transaction will probably be its downfall. EOS fixes that fatal flaw. I thought you were interested in blockchain governance?
Very confused. Mistakes were made.
I have a high risk focus on my portfolio. The unique position compared to a "mainstream" portfolio is my big stack in X8X which I'm completely sold to believe will make me huge returns. So that's my advice, do the research and buy a small stack in X8X.
31% ETH, 25% BTC, 25% X8X, 12% EOS, 4% XRP, 3% ADA and some minor ICO positions (1%).
As someone who owns a large amount of EOS, I wish the pro-EOS people would give it a rest. It's completely reasonable for someone not to own EOS at this stage considering we are just now launching and there are plenty of things that can go wrong. I'm all about EOS dapps but some people want to see a chain run for a while before they fully commit their money.
On QUBIC thing you should probably know, that they started to work on Qubic in 2012!! So its not like they came up with it recently, they came up with IOTA recently.... To question of when will Qubic be ready David Sonstebo answered "we expect alpha version in the end of 2018 or beggining of 2019. Cheers!
Mmm, my opinion your too top heavy. Your lite coin will be your big money maker this January 2019. But you should invest more on the cheaper coins you have nothing to lose. Stellar lumen, digibyte, theta, pillar, ppt, mediblock, iost, cardano, storm, hydrogen, dent, & ark....etc..Just with 2grand investment, and there projects are pretty 😎 and I hope they succeed, its going to change the 🌎. Anyway, if any of them just go a little up, your in the 💰.lol
Reading the comments there are a ton of EOS supporters. Do any of them understand how EOS works? Do they understand the fee structure? The centralized node voting process where there is no incentive for the nodes to behave ethically? There has been no major breakthrough in blockchain consensus tech, so ask yourselves, what is the compromise for the promised, not proven TX rate? Centralization is the correct answer here.
Mega List of all my Airdrops! All Airdrops is testet and is true is free coins for you!!!! Mega Airdrop List for you! 44 free Airdrops!!! All Airdrop is testet! is a google sheets list
Nice video though i get the feeling you never heard of DigiByte. DigiByte is the longest and most secure UTXO blockchain. Safer Faster Cheaper more scalable then Litecoin. You should check it. Ditch half of your portfolio and buy DGB. And i'm not kidding nor am i bulshitting you or anny of your followers. Yust compare DigiByte to anny other blockchain and convince yourself. I know that those who read this and are smart will check on DigiByte if they don't know it yet.
This is a smart portfolio. BTC and ETH will not be going away.
I'm also with you on LTC. I was once very bullish on LTC but as BTC gets cheaper and cheaper to transact with, LTC becomes redundant.
I would recommend holding more coins which offer staking rewards derived from fees on high volume transacting platforms. In particular NEX and OMG. Don't forget you'll also receive 'free' Cosmos Network hardspoon tokens for both OMG and ETH some time this year. .
With Asia being big player in the scene, it might be a good idea to reconsider your outlook on NEO. Also consider small positions in projects like Icon, Ontology, Nebulas.
Another one to throw in the works is NEXO which would complement your portfolio. You could free up some cash without selling your crypto by using your large BTC and ETH holdings as collateral for loans on their platform. Dividends are distributed to token holders.
I'm with Cedric Dahl on EOS though. It doesn't solve a hair on fire problem. The blockchain ecosystem is simply not mature enough yet to have projects raising billions and then running before it can learn to walk.
Good luck Louis!
Seriously you should take a deep dive in to BAT, the team are world class and they have fantastic vision + building momentum by the day and its not yet reflected in the price.
Louise please do yourself a favor and check out the BRAVE/BAT project, SO underrated its crazy.
I hate this junk...but those saying buy EOS over Ethereum are lost. If you were to look @ the space you want to go where developers are going. Which would be BTC AND ETH....More and more going to advance this space. Once money flow hits from the big boys they would go into BTC/EOS . Now if all the devs left those two projects for EOS then you move to EOS
@louisthomas David Sonstebo said in an interview yesterday that an Alpha for Qubic is expected end of year. They've been working on it for 6 years, and IOTA was CREATED for Qubic, and not vice versa.
Hopefully it plays out sooner than most people expect.
You are misinformed. Please do some research on the fundamentals before making false assumptions.
IOTA is currently in what should be considered a ‘transition period’ towards large scale deployment and standardization. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum and all other distributed consensus protocols before it, the IOTA network need an onboarding mechanism to provide 34% attack protection in its early days. Due to the unique underlying architecture of IOTA this takes the shape of a ‘Coordinator’. The ‘Coordinator’ or ‘Coo’ for short, is essentially training wheels for the network until the amount of organic activity on the ledger is sufficient to where it can evolve unassisted, at which point the Coo is permanently shut off.
This does not mean that the IOTA ledger is currently in any way centralized, the network is 100% decentralized, every node verifies that the Coo is is not breaking consensus rules by creating iotas out of thin air or approving double-spendings. In fact any talented programmer could replace Coo logic in IRI with Random Walk Monte Carlo logic and go without its milestones right now, so technically even at present the Coo is entirely optional. The only role the Coordinator serves is to protect against attacks in this temporary infancy stage of the Tangle ledger, if we shut the Coo down the network would continue to evolve as it will in the future when it is unassisted by these ‘training wheels’.
the thing about first gen second gen etc is that every coin has the ability to create pretty much any tech at any time ... ETH can evolve and do all the things that "newer" coins can do ... and ETH has network effects and a huge developer community and will easily be the 2nd if not first choice for the big money ... people have this idea that BTC and ETH are the MySpace of crypto and I don't think that's exactly true
I was about to write a long answer but i hope you can interpret the data by yourself. Go on "arewedecentralizedyet(dot)com" and look at how centralized cardano is, among other things (the question marks mean there is a lack of transparency). Remember why crypto started and tell me why all these hyper centralized projects are getting more love than true decentralized currencies. Makes no sense to me. And btw i'm no fan of Ether either.
Tiziano L. Thats not what i am saying. I am convinced that speed, scalability and security issues with the 3rd gen coins are way better. I miss the motivation 'why' he has what he has and i am curious about that
Having less to invest, have gone higher risk. Crash and burn or get rich. Mine is.....
DBC 45%, IOTA 18%, ETH 12%, BCH 8%, NEO 8%, REP 8% OPEN 1%
Interested in any opinions. I strongly believe DBC could be a game changer
I always assumed you had a much larger position in ETH and a much smaller one in BTC. I'm also trying to accumulate as much Bitcoin as possible. I'm hoping to have one whole bitcoin before the end of the year; this may be the last chance to get it for under 10k.
Check out Ethbay which aims to become the eBay marketplace of Ethereum. If successful, this project will be very good for cryptocurrency mass adoption in general but especially Ethereum adoption. Considering the high demand for online marketplaces and Ethbay's improvements over standard centralized marketplaces, there is also a great profit potential to be made through investing in this platform.
This is the official website of Ethbay to check out the full details of our project: www.ethbay.co
I was tricked as well.
Year long ICO? Scam.
US citizens blocked? Scam.
ICO claims your tokens can be worth nothing? Scam.
B.1 says they won’t launch the project themselves? Scam.
Then I learned. Not scam.
1 year of ICO? Distribution. Capital.
US citizens blocked? Safe from SEC security label.
ICO tokens can be worth nothing? Yep. Not a security.
B.1 won’t launch the project? Yep, community launch. Not a security.
Dan just created a company that made a product but is released for free. The digital environment that product runs on is owned by a community and controlled by a community. You could not label this as a security if it was your life mission. Voting and customizability allows a fork-free ever changing blockchain with possibly unlimited scaling.
What can etherium really do enlighten me eos is due to launch and then the pressure is on for slow not scalable etherium. Etherium doesn't protect users funds many have lost large amounts on the etherium network the ico model is terrible I can go on for days some of you guys invest in the hype

The miners are interested in finding a nonce which will create a hash with certain characteristics. Lastly, they have to find a random value that they included in the header, which makes the computed hash over that header a value below a particular target. In other words, they do not have to agree to change the protocol. Though there are a few gold diggers attempting to fill their pockets and certain projects that aren`t viable and shouldn`t be encouraged in any way. For users running a complete node, it is a fairly painless procedure to upgrade the software to the newest version. The process of locating a new block to extend the blockchain is known as mining. Proof-of-Work systems utilize cryptographic hashing algorithms to create the action of mining a block a complicated computation. Our software is totally incompatible with altcoins. Changes and modifications to how that it works need to be approved by consensus and every CPU gets a vote. To start with, it`s essential to realize that hardware wallet users control entirely their private keys. Whether you`re bullish or bearish on Bitcoin Gold, you ought not lose your coins as a result of careless mistakes! On the 1 hand, it may result in making a coin that solves all the pending issues. There`s no currency or digital asset named Bitcoin Core. Bitcoin Cash increases the range of transactions that may be processed per block. You could send any quantity of money, any place in the Earth, almost at no cost. You`ve made some great money already on the market, but you want more. For a wealthy individual, BTC`s price premium may be viewed as a plus. For someone without lots of money, BCH`s low price may look like a great deal for Bitcoin. If you have some concerns about the worth of Bitcoin after all forks, you need to be ready for a drop. The distinction is that not all of these suffer the chain split. The primary problem is Bitcoin imposes a hard limit on the magnitude of a block, the location where transaction information becomes stored. The end result is many straightforward wallets, called SPV wallets and very commonly found on your phone, will be quite confused about which chain is Bitcoin. In Bitcoin, the most important reason is known as the network effect.
