Explains how my arbitrage calculator works by linking into exchange specific quotes on coinmarketcap.com and then automatically calculates the profit by trading any one of the 9 arbitrage paths that come from trading 3 currencies on 3 different exchanges. has yielded around 50 positive trades and only a handful of negative/neutral trades even with transfer/trading fees included. Something I don't discuss is that I have only done trades with $1000 USD as proof of concept. Doing trades with much more money would obviously affect the price equilibrium on these exchanges. That's why it's best to stick to high volume exchanges as well.
If you would like to have both files as well as a video explaining how to change the "data gathering over time" file send me $50 worth of BTC/ETH/LTC/Paypal and post the address as confirmation and your email. I will email out both the file that simply displays the current profits for each trade and the file that can do the data gathering at the click of a button. I will also create a video that shows how to easily change how often each data point is gathered as well as how to change the refresh periods on the file.I think there is a lot of value in data analysis of this data. This follow up video is now posted btw. This did take about a dozen hours to create and if you want to figure it out yourself you are welcome to ;)
Yes it is still available. I am going to be putting new content out in a few weeks I just graduated college got a real job and moved to a new state so my life has been in disarray for some time. I miss making videos a lot.
Good video - interesting what you offer...
However, it has become a bit calmer here...
Yes, the market capitalization in the crypto sector has declined, and the current opportunities for arbitrage trading are no longer quite as good as at the highs.
How do you rate that?
I would definitely like to try out your Excel spreadsheet.
Is it still available?
Pete from Munich, Germany
Yes it is still available. I am going to be putting new content out in a few weeks I just graduated college got a real job and moved to a new state so my life has been in disarray for some time. I miss making videos a lot. The market has certainly gotten more efficient over time. I still think this market will be much less efficient than traditional markets for years to come so the opportunity is there.
Hey, is it possible to setup something similar to what this individual did, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiChyHUp4hA , He's also doing arbitrage between 3 exchanges, kraken, bitstamp and poloniex. The currencies he focuses on are LTC, XRP, ETH, BTC and BCH, he doesnt just buy a currency on one exchange then send it to a second exchange to sell. He passes the funds through several currencies. From what i've seen he's getting arbitrage profits of 3% - 4% with his method. Can you watch what he does and let me know if its possible to replicate with your file? I tried purchasing directly from him but he keeps saying he's not getting my funds even though paypal says its been delivered. Please let me know, thanks.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but the prices you are using from Coinmarketcap are the last traded prices, however in practice would you not need to take into consideration the BID/ASK prices? Often times with BID/ASK spread you may lose ~0.5%.
hi marc, can you send over the file? bittrex, gdax and binance. BTC, ETH and LTC.
can you also ensure currency is GBP? Also, are you up letting us know about further arb's you find for a fee?
pls confirm and I'll send over the $50 via BTC :-)
Hey Marc, what's up. I'm getting back in touch with some insight. I just developed my app to scan over a million possible combinations of triangular arbitrage. I have altcoin, fx, etc from 6 different exchanges. I found a 40% wide spread, in ETH GBP and BTC between GDAX and Kraken. It looks profitable, but I'm not sure how go full round trip without a bank wire back to Kraken in GBP. GDAX doesn't offer BTCGBP for US citizens, so I'm out of luck. It seems possible to profit from carry trading.
Hi Lot's of comments I can't read thru all. Is there anyway you can factor in trading fee for my chart? I will send payment after a response. I seem to be making bad trades because of these fees and need them factored in, perhaps just a few of my Altcoins I like to trade XRP, VEN, Electronium. Thanks
factoring in fees is possible but I think the value add would be minimal as fees at exchanges are all basically the same, .2-.3%, so you can just assume it to be .5 or .6% for two trades no matter the exchange. not precise but possibly good enough..
Can you please send me the file (and instructions on how to hook up data feeds from other exchanges)? Happy to pay you $50 - just email me and let me know where to send to [email protected]
I got an email saying there was a problem with XRP not being on Binance. I replied asking to use LTC or BCH as a third currency but never received any emails with attachments or any docs. Kindly resend...
Great video man. Now if you could just take it down lol but I'm definitely interested. Will send over some LTC for the file, and I'll re-post right after. It should show up, but I'm at [email protected] just to clarify. Thanks

Hi Marc love your work. Just a couple questions:
1. Does this work with exchangers different from poloniex, gdax, kraken?
in my country we are not able to use gdax
2 Does this do automatic orders in every exchange? I understand it doesn´t but correct me if I´m wrong and if that´s the case then that means I should go mannually from exchange to exchange buying, selling and transfering?
Thanks Marc. Got it. Then the process would be to do it as you explain in the video right? buy, transfer, sell and so on ? btw I found a couple of bots out there (haasonline and Arbitrage coins) and I understand the difference between those and your calculator is that yours provides the most profitable squares so you go in a circle of buy, sell, transfer to get the most from a cross exchange arbitrage. am I Right?
Skyler J. Collins that’s right but I always cash out to usd or usdt in between cryptos. It makes the math more complicated for me to go directly from crypto to crypto. I think it can still be done and would lower trading fees but makes the profit % harder to calculate on a spreadsheet
Hi Marc, Could you customize the spreadsheet for me with Binance, Kraken and KuCoin? I wish to also have a quick clarification - I can see only 1 file in your Youtube video. What does the 2nd file consist of? I am willing to pay $50 but need to know what I am getting. Thanks :)
I haven't had a chance to put to use yet for trading...but I can say it looks like it works, and your customer service and response times are impeccable. Thank you very much, looking forward to doing more business with you! -Veronica Leroux
Hey the follow-up video is a good walkthrough on how to create the file yourself if you wish. I am also selling the file if you wish to have it immediately or are not great with excel. Please read the description if you are interested. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi Marc...great stuff! I'd like to order 2 calcs to try, so my trading partner and I can work 2 loops simultaneously. Couple questions: Would going with gdax, binance and bittrex still start with btc out of gdax? Will the % be same or similar over time? I don't plan on buying any btc for my trades and I can pull out as needed from gdax to external as needed and only keep a small amount overnight or when not trading. 2nd one, a little higher risk same exchanges but would something like btc-eth-xrp make sense? And whatever the choices it should include gdax and btc, with 2 erc-20's? Thanks so much, I just don't use polonex or kraaken myself. Thanks so much!
it all depends on where you start based off market prices, but I do generally withdraw BTC from GDAX and ship ETH or LTC back there as prices seem to be inflated for alts on GDAX. I can easily change the file to be another 3x3 with whatever exchanges or currency pairs you want for the same price. Please read the video description for details. Thanks.
Hi. Thank you for nice work.
Please let me know how many coins does your calculator support.
Could you add more coins, bitrex and Korean exchanges?(bithumb, coinnest, coinone, coinrail, corbit)
I'm willing to pay 50$ if you update your calculator.
Jonathan Park like I said above I am willing to change to any three exchanges and currency pairs for $50 as this requires minimal work on my end. If you want more than a 3x3 we would have to work out another arrangement. Price is firm as everyone doing arbitrage undercuts one another. Thanks
Thank you for replying me Marc.
Do you mean your calculator support 3 coins and 3 exchanges?
There are many altcoins can be arbitraged such as dash, tron, monero, ect.
Your calculator still looks nice but it's quite expensive to pay $50 if your calculator only support ltc, eth, btc and those 3 exchanges in your video.
Could you send me your calculator for $5?
The previous price was reasonable but $50 seems little expensive.
You don't need to update your calculator if you can sell me for $5.
Yes I can alter it to what exchanges you prefer if it for only 3 exchanges and 3 currency pairs as this is a relatively easy fix from the files current form. If you requires say 5 exchanges and 5 pairs that would require significant addition to the file and we could negotiate something.
Nice info Marc, thanks. I am interested in buying your product, but I have a couple of questions first: Are you at this point still using bitcoin with this opportunity? With what the outrageous transaction prices it seems like it would eat a good portion of any returns, unless you are doing very large amounts, no? Also, you briefly touch on the time lag for the trades, but especially when using Kraken the processing time can be quite long, up to an hour with Litecoin. How often does this have an adverse effect on your trades? It seems like perhaps only trading with LTC/ETH or other ERC20 coins might be the way to go? What are your thoughts? Thank you.
Transaction times can either hurt or help your trade depending on if the asset falls or rises in price. Obviously this makes the standard deviations of outcomes in your trade go up which is not good. withdrawing BTC from gdax is free and I normally withdraw BTC from GDAX so this helps some. I normally arb around 4-5k so yes larger size helps deal with non proportional fees like transaction fees, trading fees are proportional so it doesn't help here. also larger position sizes increases risk incase an exchange is hacked or simply loses your funds which has happened to me. Poloniex lost 4k worth of ETH for like 24 hours but I luckily got it back
I take that back, I have one more question: How are you dealing with the sporadically high confirmation times? Lately even for LTC and ETH coming out of GDAX it can take hours. Do you find that it often, or even sometimes, negatively affects your trades?
I agree that we are overextended, but the prices just keep climbing. I was waiting for a nice pull back to get into some of my favorite projects, but when things finally slowed down the other day and pulled back, prices had rebounded before I could get my assets in place. It's really just crazy right now. My only other question then is about the $20 that BTC is charging right now for transactions. How do you handle that, especially as you say if you are dealing in small amounts? Even if you only pay the fee once when you take it from your wallet and put it into an exchange, that $20 represents a large amount comparative to a 1-2% take on a trade. Intuitively it seems that unless you are making trades in excess of 10k it wouldn't be worth it, no?
generally yes I exit gdax with BTC. a good portion of the time the top performing square will be around 1-1.5%. normally I don't trade under these conditions as it is too narrow of a margin to be a good use of time as I am working on other projects. But on days like in the recent past when LTC blew up on GDAX I was making 25% runs of selling LTC on GDAX and taking ETH out. I made 5k in one day but this was highly irregular and I am trading fairly small sums. Yes I am strict on taking profits, I normally move 50% of profits made out of crypto. This is because I have tried to stay strict on never having more than 20% of my net worth in crypto throughout this year as I think we are pretty over-extended, obviously this has caused me to underperform the crypto market relative to my portfolio performance but I am happy with it as I have minimized my risk significantly. I think bots are present but they must not be very good or at least perform very poorly at times, I am currently working on using python with GDAX api and have so far wasted dozens of hours, the documentation is shit and I can find no valuable resources online. If enough dumb money continues to flow in these opportunities will continue to stay open at least in the short term. let me know if you have any other questions.
So are you saying that generally when your program shows you an opportunity (loop) it is to begin with BTC/GDAX and moving to other exchanges? Volatility in the markets has increased quite a bit since you first made these videos, in them you mention that margins of 1.5-2% are good, how has that changed in the past few months? Do you find that you are still normally able to take advantage of them in a timely manner, or has increased liquidity (and likely improved bots) made it more difficult to realize those margins? And then lastly, are you ever moving money out of your exchange accounts and into your bank account in order to recycle your capital as a part of your strategy?
Hey Marc, thanks for the video, just what I have been looking for. I have just sent you .165 LTC which should be USD$50. I sent from an exchange and not sure what my sending address is. Can you confirm you received? Txn ID is a0b226cb925ae6ccf5c2574e982895f10fd67129e8fb4e445acfb15a0805fce2
my email is [email protected] Cheers
approximately how much capital do you think would be required to make those kind of gains on a daily basis? I'm very interested in getting into arbitrage trading but it seems that you must have a good amount of capital up front. It would be helpful to know your thoughts on this matter, or maybe what sort of daily returns can be anticipated after getting everything polished and running. Thanks!
he is not a fool, apparently he is making more money on selling the app than actually on the arbitrage. I've done similar app few months ago and very rarely could see results more than 0.6 % (similar exchanges and transactions)
hey, I got your payment but it's only for $.55. I've had a few people send me a little under $5 and that was always fine but i'm sorry 55 cents won't cut it. Also I wouldn't recommend sending BTC as fees are pretty high.
So then then just the three same trading pairs since that's all GDAX has. Yeah I can add bittrex in for $10. Just send via paypal or one of the the cryptos above in the description. I'll have it to you in 24 hours of payment, thanks.
Ken Reed hey, just send crypto or fiat to the addresses listed in the video description. If you use PayPal you can add your email in the message or pm the public key if you decided to use crypto so I know who sent it and I will send the file right over. Thanks.
holy shit man you're looking pretty badass there haha, I'm shocked such large arbitrage exists, I had seen the differences in prices but always assumed they reversed very rapidly and the trading fees ate any differences.
has it faded over the course of the last few months?
Yes it has definitely faded some, Also if you don't have a bot to do it for you it is very time consuming and stressful. I have made enough from hodling BTC this year to start up a mining operation for alts and BTC. I plan on documenting all of this and continuing to talk crypto/finance/econ/trading on this channel. I have been busy with school but after December I am done. Please sub if you wanna see more :)
Hi Marc, may I know your average monthly income in USD using your arbitrage tool and strategy? I have been looking for a sound arbitrage operator with a winning record. The spreadsheets look very promising.
This is fantastic. Great work dude. Beats the hell out of the calculator i made in excel. I know nothing about plugging this into coin market cap etc... i am in australia. Are the exchanges that are used in your calculator also good for aussie customers.
this is my email...I'd like to talk offline....I'd love to know more details in hands on operations in addition to sending you the $5 (or whatever it's going for now) for the spreadsheets....ibvocean @ gmail......com.............thanks
It's been a few hundred percent doing arbitrage. I have another spreadsheet that I've been working on that uses 10 different exchanges that are available to US customers. Yes you have to have accounts at all the exchanges or you cannot trade there.
I understand your concerns. What would you say your ROI has been for whatever amount you have traded using only these arbitrage spreadsheets? And do you to create accounts for ALL the exchanges included?
I'd rather not discuss my specific earnings but I have had good success this calculator. Keep in mind this is an incredibly basic strategy and as time goes on all arbitrage opportunities approach zero as more and more people exploit them. Luckily crypto is young and dumb so I hope arbitrage has a few good years left. If you'd like to purchase the file it is still for sale please read the description for details.
Thanks this is very true, it would not be a significant time investment and would contribute to the accuracy of the calculator. Trading fees may be a static fee at an exchange but transaction fees certainly are not, I'm looking at you BTC :(
Hey man - I'm liking what you put together. This is a much better arbitrage layout and one you can see. I'm going to send you some bitcoin for making this. I appreciate the documents and anything else you can send over for tips. Thanks for creating this.

You have access to the free version that is not functional as mentioned in the description. If you would like the full copy please send me $5 of crypto or fiat and leave your address or paypal as proof. Thanks.
for sure. BTC is not ideal for transaction this small anyways. Most people have sent me ETH or LTC due to this. My paypal is paypal.me/MarcReagan. Just give me your email and I will send it right over. Thanks.
The miners are interested in finding a nonce which will create a hash with certain characteristics. Lastly, they have to find a random value that they included in the header, which makes the computed hash over that header a value below a particular target.
