Another video in my 'Quick Cryptocurrency Overview' series.
In this episode I cover SALT (SALT).
SALT allows to leverage blockchain assets to secure cash loans. They allow people to get money without having to sell investments
The company behind SALT was founded in 2016 and is based in Denver, USA
There was an ICO in August where SALT raised almost $55 million making it one of top 10 ICOs in history in terms of raised capital.
SALT has several value tiers and products. It is aiming to be used by both companies, businesses and private users.
Some of the sources of information about the project:

I love SALT! Just bought some in my EXODUS wallet and used it to buy a membership. Don't think they will be making loans until end of the year, or sooner. Note the membership website sales token memberships for $25 each level, you can buy them for now around $3-4 on exodus, what a deal. Once the selling pressure is gone and they actually start advertising what they do i think it will take off. I hold around a dozen BTC i can use as collateral, if I sale them i owe capital gains galore. Would rather use them as collateral, I am in the US so don't know how that will affect others....
Would you please take a look at ColossusCoinXT. It is a rebirth of an old coin. It is a masternode coin with privacy features and instant tx. The ticker symbol is COLX. You seem to be the best on reviewing coins without bias.
Thanks once again for your videos. :)
I have a request, if I may. Could you please make an in-depth video (or series) on Crypto Security? My infosec knowledge could use more than a little boost and some expert knowledge would help me (and the community) identificate and improve weak spots.
FYI: If you have an affiliate link for a Ledger, I'd be happy to purchase one through your link.
Mate, you should really do a video on $ETP Metaverse, this could possibly the most undervalued cryptocurrency at this moment. Enormous potential. Have a read this topic that I wrote and If you have any questions, feel free to PM me here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2247610.msg22793092#msg22793092
The miners are interested in finding a nonce which will create a hash with certain characteristics. Lastly, they have to find a random value that they included in the header, which makes the computed hash over that header a value below a particular target. In other words, they do not have to agree to change the protocol. Though there are a few gold diggers attempting to fill their pockets and certain projects that aren`t viable and shouldn`t be encouraged in any way. For users running a complete node, it is a fairly painless procedure to upgrade the software to the newest version. The process of locating a new block to extend the blockchain is known as mining. Proof-of-Work systems utilize cryptographic hashing algorithms to create the action of mining a block a complicated computation. Our software is totally incompatible with altcoins. Changes and modifications to how that it works need to be approved by consensus and every CPU gets a vote. To start with, it`s essential to realize that hardware wallet users control entirely their private keys. Whether you`re bullish or bearish on Bitcoin Gold, you ought not lose your coins as a result of careless mistakes! On the 1 hand, it may result in making a coin that solves all the pending issues. There`s no currency or digital asset named Bitcoin Core. Bitcoin Cash increases the range of transactions that may be processed per block. You could send any quantity of money, any place in the Earth, almost at no cost. You`ve made some great money already on the market, but you want more. For a wealthy individual, BTC`s price premium may be viewed as a plus. For someone without lots of money, BCH`s low price may look like a great deal for Bitcoin. If you have some concerns about the worth of Bitcoin after all forks, you need to be ready for a drop. The distinction is that not all of these suffer the chain split. The primary problem is Bitcoin imposes a hard limit on the magnitude of a block, the location where transaction information becomes stored. The end result is many straightforward wallets, called SPV wallets and very commonly found on your phone, will be quite confused about which chain is Bitcoin. In Bitcoin, the most important reason is known as the network effect.
