You get to move them down to the straight line from open to the close that doesn’t break rapport and hence blow the sale. Typically that’s what happens during that so called objection handling phase of the sale. A salesman intends to break rapport with the prospect. With the process of looping, a salesman will stay in tight rapport with prospect while answering all of their objections as simultaneously will continue moving the prospect down the straight line from the open to the close. Essentially is that point in the sale where you’ve already been through your initial qualifying pitch which means you should be in tight rapport of your prospect on a conscious and unconscious level and you’ve used that tight rapport to gather intelligence which includes identifying needs and also finding out where the pain occurs and amplifying it, if necessary.
